I am a figurative artist whose works engage with social atmospheres, capturing the sensation of space through painting. Gathering imagery from observation, memory, and personal archives, I use layers of vivid oil paints to evoke the feeling of an environment. This labor of observing and reconstructing compels my work. By painting remembrances, uncertain in their accuracy, I rely on the materiality of paint to recall a moment in time.
I live and work in Philadelphia, PA.
